Apart from the palm fringed unspoilt beaches, there are many attractions around Tangalle such as wildlife sanctuaries and places of historical interest. The kayaking on the Rekkawa lagoon and in and around the mangroves is a relaxing outdoor activity to observe the nature. Fishing trips in the lagoon as well as in the sea could be arranged.

The Galle Fort – a world Heritage Site is around an one hour drive away. There are three wildlife parks in close proximity – Yala National Park , Uda Walawe National Park and the Bundala Reserve. There is a turtle hatchery next to the property, within a few minute walk along the beach.
